FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Can you believe how time flies by...I now have a 1st grader and 4th grader. They are growing up so fast.

Anyway, School started last Wednesday. Kinks was super excited to get back to school but Bubby was a little more hesitant this year. We played up the new backpack and the $100 worth of school supplies we had to buy this year but that still didn't spark any interest. BUT.....this is the second week of school already and he seems to be doing better. I've even been getting up to fix them breakfast in the morning. HMMMMM....wonder if that will last all year long.....any bets??????

EASTER

YEP...it's already EASTER TIME and this year we had it at our house. It was centrally located for everyone and we all enjoyed being together. HOWEVER, I think something happened to the Easter Bunny on his way to our house because he went CRAZY and hid almost 175 eggs in our yard for the three kids. 150 plastic goody eggs and 24 eggs the kids colored. It looked like the Easter Bunny blew up in our yard.....lol....... The kids had a BLAST and loved watching them fill their baskets!!!!. HAPPY EASTER

Last night, Little Man had his first ever school program. Of course it was in conjunction with Easter so it was called "Hopin' Guy". They were to either wear white or pink and they made their own rabbit ears. Thank God he chose to wear white...hahaha. Anyway, the program started at 6:00 and they sang for almost 1/2 an hour. It was so CUTE. However, several times during the program, our son decided he'd stand on TOP of the risers, while everyone else was done on stage, and bust out a few John Travolta moves. WHOSE SON IS THAT ANYWAY?????

GOING BONKERS!!!!

And the name suites that place very well. Chelly and I took the kids to Bonkers on Wednesday since the kids were on Spring Break. They've been wanting to go for quite some time but I refuse to go on the weekends because it's so LOUD and CROWDED so we took advantage of the mid-week trip. There was NO ONE in the place, and the kids had a blast. They ran around and played games for the entire 3 hours we were there. After that, we went and had Pizza. I thought MEAN FACE would be pooped, but as soon as we got home, she got her second wind. They had a really good time!!!!

OTHER STUFF

To keep everyone updated, it's already soccer season again. I can't beleive the running has already started. Plus we're gearing up for Sis' 2nd piano recital. It's scheduled for some time in May. Not sure when, but will let everyone know when it's time.

I'm doing great and back to work already!!! I'm only working 1/2 days, but that's enough for now. I can't beleive it's only been 5 weeks and I'm doing this well. I really thought I was in for the long haul with this one. HMMM...proved them all wrong AGAIN.

As for JR...he's having surgery on April 3 and I think he's ready to get it done so he's not in pain anymore. He wants to get back to his running - imagine that. Other than that...all is well on our end!!!!!

SING IT!!!

I know it's been a long time since I've posted, but I have a really good reason!!!! :) Anyway, I'm back and so I thought I'd post a few pics of Sissy's 3rd grade music program. There obviousely is something wrong with our digital camera because NONE of the pictures that either JR or I took turned out. They're all fuzzy/blurry, so had to 'stage' a few at the end so I can prove that we were actually there...hahahaha

Bubby wanted in on the action as well, so he got his picture taken as well. They're both HAMS!!!! And they are growing up SO fast. I can't believe that the school year is almost over and Bubby is going to graduate and move on...hahha

CHRISTMAS 2008

While Christmas has come and gone, I'm just now getting around to updating my blog. Been SUPER BUSY, plus my sister was 'slacking' in getting me the pictures.

As you can see, we had a very wonderful Christmas. We spent a week with my parents and my sister, her step-son, my brother, wife, and neice. it was a house-full, but we all enjoyed the time together. I think mom and dad were ready to kick us all to the curve those last few days.

Santa was extra good to all three kids this year. They got everything they wanted and then some. Kinks' favorite was her i-pod and the Wii, and Bubs' favorite was the Wii and his lightsaber. MERRY CHRISTMAS
